Geomatix has been contracted by Future Flow (created as a part of the government's food bowl modernization initiative) to undertake engineering surveys of channels throughout the Shepparton East region. Surveys have involved setting up the survey control, numerous feature and detail surveys, cross-sections (wet and dry) and delivering the data in a Future Flow specific CAD format. As part of this project Geomatix has been able to utilise its expertise in both GPS and survey automation to great effect, delivering high quality, timely results for our clients.

In April 2008, Geomatix travelled to the remote mining camp of Crocker Well in South Australia to provide ground survey support for ALS activities in the area.

Located approximately 500km NE of Adelaide, Crocker Well is an exploration camp operated by Pepinnini Mineral Ltd. Geomatix provided GPS Basestation operations and ground truthing surveys during ALS data acquistion over the exploration tenement.

Geomatix recently completed ground truthing surveys and GPS basestation operations in and around the Coorong Lakes district of South Australia.
