About Us : Outstanding in our Field
Geomatix was established by Simon Fuller and Lynden McGregor to provide professional,
timely, and innovative surveying services. During the company’s first few years Geomatix
focused on providing high accuracy GPS surveying services, building on an already significant
amount of expertise in GPS surveying. Many of the company's early projects were carried out
in unusual or demanding circumstances, resulting in the development of innovative project
solutions and a group of highly motivated staff. In recent times Geomatix has expanded into
more traditional surveying activities in addition to undertaking research into GPS data
processing and software development.

About Us : People
Geomatix employs a number of highly skilled and motivated individuals who work together to ensure the best possible results for our clients. You can find brief details on some of our key personnel in the sections below.

Lynden McGregor (Director)

Lynden completed Bachelors Degrees in Geomatics and Earth Science at The University of Melbourne in 2001. During his time at university Lynden worked as a surveyor for Culliver & Sim Pty Ltd and developed surveying software for Geocomp Consulting. He also worked offshore for a number of years as a seismic and hydrographic surveyor for the Veritas Group (based out of Singapore). Lynden is one of the founders of Geomatix and has worked for the company since its inception in 2002. Whilst working for Geomatix, Lynden has traveled the far reaches of the globe, working in exotic locations such as Bangladesh, Papua New Guinea, and Torres Strait.




Simon Fuller (Director)

Simon completed Bachelors Degrees in Geomatics and Arts at The University of Melbourne in 2001. Whilst at university (and for sometime afterwards) he managed a number of GPS surveying projects for academics in the Environmental and Earth Sciences. The highlight of this early work was a project monitoring the Sorsdal Glacier in Antarctica. Simon also worked for Geocomp Consulting developing surveying software and undertaking project work. Simon founded Geomatix with Lynden McGregor and has worked for the company since its inception in 2002. He maintains close links with the University of Melbourne where he lectures in surveying and is undertaking further study in the area of GPS Quality Control.



Lachlan Beveridge (GIS Developer/Analyst)

Lachlan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2000 with a degree in Geomatics. After leaving university, he worked offshore for Fugro, then for LICS (and subsequently SKM) as a GIS Developer and Analyst before joining Geomatix in late 2007.

Adrian Corvino (Surveyor/Geologist)

Adrian graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2001 with degrees in Geomatics and Earth Sciences. Since joining the company in 2005 Adrian has worked on a variety projects including GPS surveys for the Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline, drainage and road construction at Eastlink, transmission line setout in Mackay, and various photo control and feature surveys throughout Victoria.
